Young People Hold Evening Gala amid Display of Fireworks to Celebrate Day of Shining Star

There was an evening gala of youth and students and fireworks display in Pyongyang’s Kim Il Sung Square in the evening of February 16 to celebrate the Day of the Shining Star.

The evening gala started with the playing of song A Dear Name, the popular song.

Youth and students unfolded a sea of dance in profound reverence for Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Beautiful fireworks soared to the nocturnal sky of celebration, further stoking up the atmosphere of the evening party.

The evening party climaxed with the playing of song We Will Defend General Kim Jong Un with Our Lives in the square in which the flags of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the DPRK and youth league fluttered in all places.
