Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Message of Greeting from Syrian President

Kim Jong Un, president of the State of Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on April 7.

The message extended warm congratulations to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, hoping that the friendly DPRK would achieve steady development and prosperity and grow stronger.

It noted that President Kim Il Sung, who embarked upon the struggle against colonialism and for the freedom and independence of the country in his early years, led the country to prosperity, founded the idea of human emancipation and rendered active support to the national liberation movements throughout the world, performing immortal exploits.

The Syrian president in the message said that they would strengthen the historic relations of friendship and develop the bilateral cooperation in the interests of the peoples of the two countries to overcome all challenges.
