More People Move Into Better Houses in DPRK

Agricultural workers of the Ryonghung Farm in Thaechon County, North Phyongan Province of the DPRK, have moved into new dwelling houses.

The villages, where modern single-story, terraced houses and public buildings have been built cozily, are covered with trees and flower shrubs of good species. The beautiful landscape of the villages clearly shows the changes in the socialist countryside that becomes civilized and modern daily.

Present at a ceremony on April 14 were Pak Song Chol, chief secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Worker’s Party of Korea, officials of the Party and power organs in Thaechon County, builders and agricultural workers who would move into new dwelling houses.

Ri Yong Chol, chairman of the North Phyongan Provincial People’s Committee, made a congratulatory speech.

Licenses for the use of houses were conveyed and speeches were made at the ceremony

Peasant’s music resounded throughout the farm villages and dancing started, while agricultural workers moved into new houses.

Officials of the Party and power organs visited the owners of the new houses and shared joy with them, offering them daily necessities
