Ceremony for Completion of Workers’ Hostel Held

There appeared the splendid workers’ hostel of Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill on the bank of picturesque River Taedong.

The hostel has three adjacent 7-storeyed buildings and communal service facilities including public bath, beauty parlor, shop, medical treatment room and library as well as a park where the boarders may have good rest and play amusement and sports games.

When visiting the mill in October last year, Marshal Kim Jong Un said that he would build a nice hostel as requested by leader Kim Jong Il. He personally set the site of the project, dispatched the powerful building forces of the Korean People’s Army and solved all the matters arising in the project.

The ceremony for its completion was held on May 4.

Present there were O Su Yong, secretary of the C.C., the Workers’ Party of Korea, An Jong Su, department director of the C.C., the WPK, Cha Hui Rim, chairman of the Pyongyang City People’s Committee, officers and men of the KPA unit engaged in building the hostel and officials, labor innovators and employees of the mill.

Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, made a report.

On the same day, workers of the mill moved to the hostel.

Officials concerned, officials and employees of the mill and the families of the boarders congratulated the boarders of the hostel, sharing joy with them.
