Floral Baskets Laid before Statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

People and service personnel of the Korean People’s Army throughout the country paid tribute to the statues of the peerlessly great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Kim Jong Il’s start of leadership over the revolutionary armed forces.

Placed before the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill were baskets of flowers in the names of Party, government and military organs, public organizations, ministries, national agencies, units of the KPA and the Public Security Forces, institutions, industrial establishments and universities at all levels in Pyongyang, and bouquets.

The visitors made deep bows to the statues of the great leaders.

Baskets of flowers in the names of units of the KPA and the PSF and industrial establishments, etc. and bunches of flowers were laid at the statues of the great leaders and their smiling portraits in different places of the capital city, including Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of the People’s Armed Forces and the Mansudae Art Studio.
