Enjoying the performance were senior party, state and army officials including Kim Yong Nam, the chairperson of a friendly party, deputies to the Supreme People’s Assembly, officials of the party, armed forces and power organs, social organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People’s Army and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces and working people in the city.
Also present there were overseas compatriots including the members of the congratulatory group of Koreans in Japan and the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.
Present there on invitation were diplomatic envoys, representatives of international bodies, members of the military attaches and their spouses and other foreign guests here.
The performance started with chorus “Song of the Proclamation of the People’s Republic” and “My Country Is the Eternal Country of the Leader”.
Put on the stage were colorful numbers including female vocal trio “Embrace of Country”, immortal classic masterpiece, dance “Azalea of Homeland”, female instrumental ensemble “We Long for You, General” and male solo and female pangchang (off-stage song) “On Rough Roads and High Hills of This Country”.
The performers highly lauded the feats Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il performed by laying an eternal foundation for the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche.
Male solo “Our Society Is the Best”, mixed vocal quintet and chorus “Let’s Love Our Homeland” and other numbers impressively featured the Korean people advancing towards the brilliant morrow, enjoying a worthwhile life under the care of the motherland.
When mixed duet and chorus “Our Beloved Leader” and female solo and chorus “Ardent Wishes” rung out, the audience hardly repressed their boundless gratitude for the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, who is taking care of all the service personnel and people by embracing them with his warm loving care.
The performance ended with chorus “Forward to Final Victory”.
It was highly applauded by the audience for its high ideological value and artistry.
