National Photo Show Opens in the DPRK

A national photo show “Ushering in the period of prosperity of Songun Korea” opened with due ceremony at the Grand People’s Study House on April 7 in celebration of the 2nd anniversary of holding supreme leader Kim Jong Un at the helm of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the state.

Displayed at the show hall are photos of Kim Jong Un, who is glorifying the party and state of the DPRK as glorious party and state of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and demonstrating the independent dignity and power of Songun Korea.

Also displayed are photos showing the successes achieved by the service personnel and people of the DPRK.

Present at the opening ceremony were Kim Ki Nam, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials concerned and Pyongyangites.

Vice-Premier Kim Yong Jin made an opening speech.

He said that the show would offer officials and working people an opportunity to have confidence that Kim Il Sung’s nation and Kim Jong Il’s Korea would prosper for all ages as Kim Jong Un is leading the Korean revolution.

The participants looked round the show hall.
