Korean Children’s Drawings Steal Public Limelight

Drawings exhibited by children from the DPRK were highly appreciated at the 7th Asian Juvenile Picture Show held in Benxi City, Liaoning Province, China in September 2021.

The show takes place as an annual event from 2015 with a view to promoting the cultural exchange and develop friendship between youth and children in Asian countries.

Its theme for this year is “Health, Friendship and Peace”. On display there were more than 500 drawings presented by children between the ages of five and twelve from 13 countries.

Among those highly appreciated are such drawings as “One Family”, “Judge”, “Clear Sky Is Ours”, “Welcome” and “Rainbow, Dream and Future” exhibited by the Korean children.

At the awarding ceremony, the results of examination on “One Family” (first prize) painted by Choe Thae Jong from the DPRK were announced first.
