Kim Jong Un Visits Ski Resort on Masik Pass

Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) — Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People’s Army, visited the Ski Resort on Masik Pass built successfully as a great monumental structure in the era of Songun.

He went round Masik Pass Hotel and ski service and lodging buildings.

He dropped in at a restaurant, shop, publications shop, stand, etc. to learn in detail about the preparations for service and its plan.

All service facilities have been arranged in such a manner as to suit the desire and requirements of people and their emotion and architectural needs and provide the visitors with the best convenience, he said, noting with great satisfaction that the features of the area of the Masik Pass are preserved well and everything is impeccable.

He went up to the top of the pass by a ski lift to check its safety and convenience.

He learned about the performance of the snow-hardening vehicle, snow gun and other equipment.

He gave instructions to take good care of the equipment and facilities of the ski resort and serve the people well so that the visitors may keenly feel the loving care of the party.

He said that everything in the ski resort was built on the highest level, preserving the natural ecological environment in hearty response to the call of the times for pushing back the frontiers of high civilization and architecture.

He repeatedly appreciated the feats the soldier-builders performed by building one more monumental structure in the era of the WPK.

He instructed officials to hold an opening ceremony as early as possible so that people can fully enjoy skiing as the ski resort was built on the standard set by the party.
