“Hall of Great Leaders and Their Comrades-in-Arms” Opens in Korean Revolution Museum.

“Hall of the Great Leaders and Their Comrades-in-Arms” newly opened in the Korean Revolution Museum on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

On display in each room of the hall are memorial photos and fine art pieces showing the noble personalities of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who brought up the revolutionary soldiers to be comrades who would share the same destiny with them with their ardent love and trust, and many other data on their revolutionary activities and revolutionary relics.

Also displayed there are data dealing with the shining traces of lofty lives of revolutionary soldiers who shared their fate with the Party, come rain or shine.

Its opening ceremony took place on October 2.

The ceremony was attended by Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, first vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly.

Also present there were Ri Il Hwan, vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, Kim Yong Hwan, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the WPK, Ro Kwang Sop, director of the Party History Institute of the WPK Central Committee, officials of the WPK Central Committee, officials of ministries, national agencies, city- and district-level institutions, units which participated in the construction, persons of merits, and officials and staff members of the Korean Revolution Museum.

Also seen there were Army General Kim Su Gil, director of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People’s Army, and other officials of armed forces organs.

Before the opening ceremony, all the participants made a deep bow to the colour statues of the great leaders in the general review room.

Choe Ryong Hae delivered an opening address.

The participants were briefed on the hall before looking round the rooms.
