Glass Bottle Production Process Operational in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) — A glass bottle production process was modernized and went operational at the Nampho glassware branch factory of the Taean Friendship Glass Factory in the DPRK.

The modernization of the process helped lay a solid foundation for the production of packing vessels.

Its inaugural ceremony took place on Thursday.

Present there were Premier Choe Yong Rim, Tong Jong Ho, minister of Construction and Building Materials Industry, officials concerned and those of related units, workers, technicians and officials of the factory and helpers.

A message of thanks sent by the Central Committee of the WPK was conveyed to the workers, technicians and helpers who registered feats in the modernization project.

The Central Committee of the WPK in its message noted the completion of the modernization of the production process is a brilliant fruition of the wise leadership of the party and the leader and a great victory of the tremendous mental strength of the Korean people and the party’s policy on giving priority to science and technology.

The message highly appreciated the workers, technicians, officials and helpers who took part in the modernization project for their feats of building another grand edifice in Songun era by displaying matchless popular heroism and noble self-sacrificing spirit with high fidelity to the party.
