Wreath Sent to Cemetery of Fallen Soldiers of CPV

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a wreath to the Cemetery of the Fallen Soldiers of the Chinese People’s Volunteers in Hoechang County, South Phyongan Province, on the occasion of the anniversary of the CPV’s entry into the Korean front.

The historic significance of the CPV’s entry into the Korean front which clearly demonstrated the militant friendship and great unity of the peoples of the two countries remains unchanged even after the lapse of over 70 years, and it is immortal in the annals of bilateral friendship.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that during the past Fatherland Liberation War, the Chinese party and government made a strategic decision of dispatching the CPV to the Korean front under the banner of resisting America and aiding Korea, safeguarding the home and defending the motherland, despite the very difficult situation, rendered disinterested revolutionary assistance and won the great victory in the war with the united forces of the peoples and armies of the two countries, and thus defended the security of the two countries and recorded a brilliant page in the history of the DPRK-China friendship with blood and life.

Saying that the Korean people would never forget the blood shed by the CPV officers and men and the feats performed by them for helping the Korean revolution in the same trench for repelling the imperialist invasion, and that the DPRK-China friendship sealed in blood would be further consolidated without any change even one generation is replaced by another, he added that he sent the wreath to the cemetery, carrying his respect and sincerity for the eternal glorification of the noble souls of the martyrs on the platform of honour.

The wreath he sent on behalf of all the Korean people was politely laid before the cemetery on October 25.

Wreaths sent by the WPK Central Committee and the DPRK State Affairs Commission were also reverently placed before the cemetery.
