Tideland Reclamation Goes Full Steam Ahead

The primary damming project of District No. 2 came to completion at the site of reclaiming Woldo tideland.

Its successful completion opened a prospect for finishing the reclamation of the tideland ahead of schedule.

The General Tideland Reclamation Enterprise of North Phyongan Province prepared stones and earth by successfully conducting the blasting of 250 000 cubic metres of earth and others and thus laid foundations to push ahead with the tide embankment project.

The builders built tens-of-metre-long embankment by carrying over 10 000 cubic metres of stones and earth on average a day.

The officials and builders of the enterprise are now promoting the work of reinforcing the embankment in District No. 2 and building a drainage way.
