Taesongsan Spring Water was awarded the DPRK certificate ISO 22000 foodstuff safety management system in March Juche 109 (2020).

It gushes out in the Mt Taesong area of Pyongyang. It is rich in various microelements and mineral matters such as hydrocarbonate ion, calcium, potassium, magnesium, sodium and iron. In particular, it is efficacious in treating various diseases as it contains selenium and fluorine which are good for health.

It is weak hard water with a pH of 7.4.

The Taesongsan Spring Water Factory produces a large amount of spring water packed in different sizes of plastic containers.
