The Pyongyang international exhibition of health and sports science and technology opened at the Sci-Tech Complex on November 22.
It drew more than 100 organizations of various countries and regions, including the DPRK. Presented there were functional health products, medicines, medical appliances, sports apparatuses, software and others conducive to promoting health, physical training and developing sports techniques.
Its opening ceremony was attended by Choe Jong Ho, president of the Sci-Tech Complex, Kim Hyong Hun, vice-minister of Public Health, Won Kil U, vice-minister of Physical Culture and Sports, officials, researchers and lecturers of units that presented their products, foreigners and members of Pyongyang-based diplomatic missions and international organizations.
Speeches were made there.
After the ceremony the participants looked round the venue of the exhibition.
The exhibition continues until November 26.
