Pak Pong Ju Makes Field Survey of Work for Preserving Revolutionary Relics

DPRK Premier Pak Pong Ju made a field survey of the work for preserving revolutionary relics at the Samjiyon Revolutionary Battle Site.

Going round the Samjiyon Grand Monument, he acquainted himself in detail with the work for taking a good care of the statue depicting President Kim Il Sung who made a historic advance into Musan area during the anti-Japanese armed struggle, several groups of subsidiary theme sculptures and the shore of Lake Samji.

A consultative meeting was held on the spot. It discussed measures for implementing the on-site instructions given by Marshal Kim Jong Un in November last year and the issue of remodeling the lodging quarters of visitors at the Samjiyon Revolutionary Battle Site, the Samjiyon Soft Drink Factory, and the Samjiyon Souvenir Factory.

Meanwhile, he went round various industrial factories in Samjiyon County associated with the leadership exploits of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu, the Samjiyon Schoolchildren’s Palace, Cultural Hall of Samjiyon County, sports village in Mt. Paektu area, and other places. He called for pushing forward the projects to make hurrah for socialism and the Workers’ Party ring out first from Samjiyon County where Mt. Paektu, a holy mountain of revolution, stands.
