Kumyagang Power Station No. 2 Completed.

Kumyagang Power Station No. 2 went into operation.

Its completion has brought about big progress in the afforestation and water conservation in the county and provided another foundation for making contribution to economic development and improvement of its locals’ living.

Its inaugural ceremony took place on the spot on October 30.

Present at the ceremony were Ri Jong Nam, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Kim Pong Yong, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People’s Committee, officials concerned, officials and working people in Kumya County and employees of the power station.

Ri Jong Nam conveyed the congratulatory message of the WPK Central Committee addressed to the officials and working people in the county who contributed to the construction of the power station and those who rendered help to it.

An inaugural address was made to be followed by speeches.

After the ceremony, the participants looked round the power station.
