KPA Service Personnel Visit Kim Jong Il’s Birthplace in Paektusan Secret Camp

The group of service personnel of the Korean People’s Army to make the study tour of revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt. Paektu climbed the top of the sacred mountain of revolution at dawn of June 13.

The members of the group recited the poem “The eternal sun of the great Paektusan nation”. It deals with grandiose appearance of thriving Korea which is shedding its rays all over the world while being proud of being blessed with illustrious leaders as it is holding the great Songun brilliant commanders in high esteem.

They sang the immortal revolutionary hymns “Song of General Kim Il Sung” and “Song of General Kim Jong Il” and “Revolutionary Armed Forces Upholds Leadership of Marshal Only” and other songs and presented the choral recital of a poem, reflecting the revolutionary stamina to take a long journey of Songun to the last.

They arrived at Kim Jong Il’s birthplace in the Paektusan secret camp on June 14.

They placed a floral basket and bunches of flowers before the mosaics depicting the three commanders of Mt. Paektu in the secret camp and paid tribute to them.

Looking round the historic relics preserved with much care in the historic house, they keenly realized once again that Kim Jong Il was the greatest man possessed of the spirit and pluck of Mt. Paektu as dispositions.

They held an oratorical meeting on the personality of the peerless great persons in front of the house.

On the same day, they went round the Sajabong secret camp and helped the work to spruce up the Paektusan secret camp as befitting revolutionary battle site.
