Kim Jong Un Visits Kumsusan Palace of Sun

Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) — Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People’s Army, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun at 00:00 on Feb. 16, the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star), the national greatest auspicious holiday, to pay high tribute to him.

Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un entered the hall where the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il stand.

A floral basket in the name of Kim Jong Un was placed before the statues.

Also laid before the statues was a floral basket in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK.

Kim Jong Un, together with senior officials of the Party Central Committee, paid high tribute to the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

He entered the hall of immortality where Kim Jong Il lies in state.

He paid deep homage and made bow to Kim Jong Il.

Accompanying him were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, vice-chairmen Pak Kwang Ho, Ri Su Yong, Kim Phyong Hae, Thae Jong Su, O Su Yong, An Jong Su, Pak Thae Song, Kim Yong Chol, Choe Hwi and Pak Thae Dok and other senior officials of the WPK Central Committee. -0-
