Kim Jong Un Visits Kumsusan Palace of Sun

Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) — Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People’s Army (KPA), visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun at 00:00, Saturday, 70th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.

He was accompanied by leading officials of the KPA.

He entered the hall where the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il are standing.

A floral basket in the name of Kim Jong Un was placed before the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Also laid before the statues was a floral basket in the name of the KPA.

Kim Jong Un, together with the visitors, paid high tribute to the statues.

He entered the hall of immortality where Kim Il Sung lies in state.

He, together with the visitors, paid homage to Kim Il Sung in the humblest reverence.

He went round the hall where orders Kim Il Sung received are on display and halls which house a train coach and car used by him.
