Kim Jong Un Provides Field Guidance to Ryugyong Dental Hospital, Okryu Children’s Hospital

Saying that the hospital had been built to let the children grow up in good health, he solved the issues arising in the management and operation of the hospital then and there.

Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People’s Army, provided field guidance to Ryugyong Dental Hospital and Okryu Children’s Hospital.

Kim Jong Un looked round various places of Ryugyong Dental Hospital to acquaint himself in detail with the medical services and its management and operation.

He asked the sick persons and their families at the waiting room and those under treatment what they were suffering from. He told doctors to treat them well.

He said he could notice brisk medical treatment at the hospital as it had a lot of visitors. He said with joy that it was a good job to have built the hospital.

After being told that the hospital was very popular among people though it was not long since it has been opened to visitors, he said that the WPK built the hospital not to introduce the dental hospital at the world level but to let the people live in luxury and comfort under socialism in good health.

After learning in detail about the issues arising in consolidating the material and technological foundation of the hospital and in treating sick persons, he said that the Party would make sure that all issues would be settled.

He underlined the need for the medical workers to steadily improve the level of their technical skills and take good care of the medical equipment like the apples of their eyes.

He also visited Okryu Children’s Hospital to learn in detail from its officials if there is any problem in managing and operating the hospital and healthcare.

Saying that the hospital had been built to let the children grow up in good health, he solved the issues arising in the management and operation of the hospital then and there.

He expressed expectation and belief that the medical workers at those hospitals would take the lead in giving full play to the validity and vitality of the party’s policy on public health and the socialist healthcare system.

He was accompanied by Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the C.C., the WPK, Han Kwang Sang, department director of the C.C., the WPK, and Hwang Pyong So and Ri Jae Il, first vice-department directors of the C.C., the WPK. -0-
