Kim Jae Ryong Inspects Several Fields of National Economy

Kim Jae Ryong, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, member of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and premier of the Cabinet, made a field survey of various fields of national economy.

Making rounds of various places of the construction site of the project for establishing the C1 chemical industry, Kim Jae Ryong underscored the need for officials to scrupulously map out a plan and guide the work for the construction and called for ensuring both quality and speed in it.

He also referred to the need for scientists and technologists to boost the study for establishing the new chemical industry based on indigenous materials.

At Yonbaek Salt Works, he called for harnessing natural energy in salt production based on the underground ultra-saline water and gave an instruction that relevant units should provide materials necessary for the construction of dam in the salt works.

The field consultative meetings discussed measures for improving the work system of every panel to hasten the construction of projects for establishing the C1 chemical industry, solving problems arising in construction and equipment assembling in connection and cooperation with research sci-tech research organs, increasing the proportion of mechanization in salt production and remodeling and updating the salt works.

He also inspected the Sunchon Phosphatic Fertilizer Factory, Yongyu Mine, Yoldusamchon Farm in Sukchon County and the Ryongrim Cooperative Farm in Mundok County.
