Int′l Day of Persons with Disabilities Marked

Present at the meeting were Minister of Public Health Choe Chang Sik who is chairman of the Central Committee of the Federation for the Care of the Disabled of Korea, officials concerned, teachers and students of the palace and disabled persons. Members of the missions of the international organizations including EU aid mission and embassy officials here were also present.
Speakers at the meeting referred to achievements and experience made in the work of protecting the disabled during the past one year.
The work of protecting the disabled has made improvement, they said, expressing the will to expand the cooperation with various international organizations and develop the work for the disabled.
Then, the participants enjoyed an art performance given by art circle members of the palace and persons with disabilities and talked with each other. –
