DPRK’s Founding Anniversary Marked by Koreans in China

Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) — Koreans in China held celebrations on the occasion of the 72nd founding anniversary of the DPRK.
Choe Su Bong, first vice chairman of the General Association of Koreans in China, and other officials of the association laid a floral basket and paid tribute before an art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il at the DPRK Consulate General in Shenyang on September 9.
Members of the Jilin Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China placed a floral basket and made a bow before the statue of Kim Il Sung at Yuwen Middle School in Jilin.
Members of the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China and the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China laid a floral basket before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in the DPRK mission in Dandong.
The General Association held a celebration in Shenyang, China to mark the founding anniversary of the DPRK.
A letter of the General Association to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was adopted there.
The Yanbian Regional Association and the Zhongnan Regional Association of the General Association held colorful events such as meetings for adopting letters to the Supreme Leader, celebrations, film shows and round-table talks. -0-
