Jang Hae Jin, section chief of the craftworks production company under the Mansudae Art Studio, is a metalworker.
He had been deeply interested in industrial arts. After graduation from Pyongyang University of Fine Arts, he started his career at the present craftworks production company. In the course of this, he has enriched his experience and improved his abilities.
He produces various forms of fresh, distinctive metalworks by carrying forward and developing traditional craftsmanship.
He is highly skilled in handling even hardly visible details of metalwork. His works represent his outstanding artistic techniques.
His exquisite and delicate works have been highly appreciated in the national fine arts exhibitions.
Such works as “Ornamental vase embossed with Kimilsungia and Kimjongilia” and “Commemorative cup for the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK” were registered as the articles of the country recently.
